![]() In 1998, he and his wife, to whom he was married in 1990, built a home on a lake in northern Wisconsin, in which they lived during the summer months starting in 1999. He served for several years as president of the corporation that owned and operated the fraternity’s chapter house. He was involved in the alumni activities of his fraternity, writing newsletters, and assisting the undergraduates with educational and development programs. In 1967, David returned to Urbana to work in the University’s Office of Business and Financial Affairs.įor 32 years, he was involved in the design and implementation of several universitywide financial operating systems. He was a member of the Delta Chi social fraternity and served in the U.S. He attended University High School and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1961 with a degree in marketing. He lived in Evanston and Indianola until 1953, when the family moved to Urbana.
